Course Overview

This course is primarily for clients who are indentured as an electrical apprentice under an Australian approved scheme or licensed Electricians wanting to expand their skills in the field of electrical instrumentation.

A number of theory, practical and online resources are utilized in the delivery of this course.

At the end of the course, an apprentice will be able to to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in building and premises. It includes ERAC requirements for an ‘Electrician’s licence’.

A final external assessment is required by Energy Safe Victoria before an A Grade License can be issued to the apprentice.

Qualifications and Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation.
