Scaffolder's work across three levels (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced) in construction sites, mines and maritime ports. A scaffolding licence is mandatory when carrying out scaffolding work on any work site in Victoria.
Advanced Scaffolding is the third step towards a career as a Scaffolder. Advanced Scaffolding builds on the concepts established in basic scaffolding and intermediate scaffolding with additional training which will enable you to safely erect and dismantle hung and suspended scaffolding.

Qualifications and RecognitionUpon successful completion of this course participants will be eligible to be assessed for a National Certificate of Competency.
This course will train you to undertake safe scaffolding activities. It's great for those looking to improve their employment prospects in this field, or for the student who would like to continue studying rigging or crane driving.
Opportunities for Further Study
You must be at least 18 years old and have literacy and numeracy skills to a level that will allow you to perform the range of skills necessary to be an Advanced Scaffolder.

The Work Safety Centre is classified as a 'Construction Zone' so the student must wear safety footwear at all times.
