Forklift operator's drive forklifts to shift and stack a variety of items such as bales, cartons, containers, crates and pallets of goods in areas such as timber yards and warehouses, and are employed in a wide range of industries and businesses.
This course provides basic training in the safe operation of forklift trucks. It covers regulations, safety requirements, operation of a variety of forklift trucks, movement of loads from a pallet, stacking and racking.

Qualifications and RecognitionUpon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
This course will train you to undertake safe forklift operation activities. It's a great starting point for those looking to improve their employment prospects in this field, or for the student who would like to continue studying dogging or rigging activities.
Opportunities for Further Study
You must be at least 18 years old and have literacy and numeracy skills to a level that will allow you to perform the range of skills necessary to be a crane operator.
