Scaffolder's work across three levels (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced) in construction sites, mines and maritime ports. A scaffolding licence is mandatory when carrying out scaffolding work on any work site in Victoria.
Intermediate Scaffolding is the second step towards a career as a Scaffolder. Intermediate Scaffolding builds on the concepts established in basic scaffolding with additional training to install a Cantilevered Crane Loading Platform and inspection of a Mast Climber.
In this course you will learn erect and dismantle tube and coupler scaffolding. You will also learn to to erect and dismantle cantilevered and spurred scaffolds..
Enrolment into this course must be finalised 2 working days before the course commences
Qualifications and RecognitionUpon successful completion of this course participants will be eligible to be assessed for a National Certificate of Competency.
This course will train you to undertake safe scaffolding activities. It's great for those looking to improve their employment prospects in this field, or for the student who would like to continue studying rigging or crane driving.
Opportunities for Further Study
You must be at least 18 years old and have literacy and numeracy skills to a level that will allow you to perform the range of skills necessary to be an Advanced Scaffolder.

The Work Safety Centre is classified as a 'Construction Zone' so the student must wear safety footwear at all times.
