This short course is for Electrical apprentices who have completed their trade school training and would like to gain their A Grade Electrical License.
It is also available to other candidates who are wanting to pass the final LEA examinations mandated by EnergySafe Victoria.
It consists of three parts:
- LET - Licensed Electricians Theory Examination Training
- SWP - Safe Working Practice Examination Training
- LEP- Licensed Electricians Practical Examination Training
Qualifications and RecognitionUpon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
Opportunities for Further Study
- Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation
- Certificate IV Electrotechnology-Systems Electrician
Must have or in the process of completing an approved Electrical apprenticeship or similiar
Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician)
Pathway to Industry Licence
Material and Equipment supplied by students
Safety glasses, protective clothing and footwear, basic hand tools, test instruments, calculator, pens.
