This course covers the legalities and responsibilities of serving alcohol to patrons and diners on licensed premises. It explains the strategies for responsible serving of alcohol and how to refuse service if you need to. It also covers facts about alcohol and responsible alcohol consumption.
In this course you will learn about:

- Problems associated with excessive consumption
- Alcohol and the law
- Who is responsible? (negligence)
- Facts about alcohol
- Strategies for responsibly serving alcohol
- Refusal of service.

This course fulfils the legal training requirements for people who serve alcohol or work in licensed premises.
Please be aware that although this course will consist of nationally recognised training, the qualification received upon successful completion is valid only within the state of Victoria. The nationally recognised training within this course should enable participants to sit the relevant test and gain the relevant licences within other Australian states.
