Course Overview

This course will take current Microsoft Word users to the next level by extending their knowledge and skills in the more advanced areas of Word including; document automation, outlining, working with longer documents, merging, and SmartArt.

Entry Requirements

Microsoft Word 2010/2013 - Level 3 assumes an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Word and the creation of documents. It would be beneficial to have a general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system environment.

  • using the features of Word to work collaboratively with others
  • understanding and using the tracking feature in Word
  • comparing multiple versions of the same document

  • understanding, inserting and working with fields in a document
