Course Overview

The Advanced Diploma of Management will be of particular interest to those aspiring to senior managerial roles in a large organisation and those who have a leadership role in smaller organisations.

The course will focus on the management of teams, departments and projects – the skills essential to be a successful manager. The program recognises that senior management and leadership are all about performance and change.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have senior or managerial responsibilities. They may oversee the work of others or have specialised roles where they do not supervise others but provide strategic leadership. This program taps into the existing competencies of managers and, through a series of workshops and assignments, gives the participants the skills and competencies to successfully manage businesses and people in an ever-changing workplace.

This program is a pathway to the Bachelor of Applied Management.

This model is designed to give those working in industry the opportunity to enhance their skills for application in their existing roles or enable the participant to move into a new role with more responsibility. By recognising your existing skills and knowledge, the programs in this series allow you to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in an accelerated timeframe
