Course Overview

The Advanced Diploma of Management will be of particular interest to those aspiring to senior management roles in a large organisation and those who have a leadership role in smaller organisations.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have senior or managerial responsibilities. They may oversee the work of others or have specialised roles where they do not supervise others but provide strategic leadership.

This program is a pathway to the Bachelor of Applied Management.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Advanced Diploma of Management.

Entry Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age and submit a direct application and attach a resume with training records
  • Hold a Diploma of Management or Degree Qualification or
  • Diploma qualification + one year of managerial experience or
  • Two years+ of managerial experience

Competency based training is concerned with assisting people to gain specific competencies relevant to the purpose of their program of study.

A student will be assessed by completing set tasks at specified standards.
 Assignments will be graded.

A range of assessment methods will be used to enable students to demonstrate competency. 

Opportunities For Further Study

Upon successful completion of this qualification, graduates can undertake our direct pathway in to the Bachelor of Applied Management at the University of Ballarat.

The Bachelor of Applied Management is equivalent to a 3 year degree program.

Your previous Diploma and this Advanced Diploma qualifications have direct credit transfers in to the Bachelor of Applied Management program.
