Course Overview

Disability workers assist people with disabilities achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance and community participation. Learn how to work with clients of all ages, creating, implementing and monitoring developmental programs for them.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate IV in Disability.

Entry Requirements

  • Students are required to undertake a literacy assessment
  • Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Police Check and Working With Children Check
  • Applicants must be computer literate and have access to a computer with an internet connection

Practical experiences, problem solving, oral presentations, interviews, case studies, projects, group discussions, online research tasks, online quizzes, practical placement and work based assessments for eligible students in the workforce.
