Elevating Work Platform Operator's work in a variety of industries where people are required to work in an elevated position where other forms of access are not feasible or practical.
This course provides basic training in the safe operation of a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform. It covers regulations, safety requirements and operation of a variety of elevating work platforms.

Qualifications and RecognitionUpon successful completion of this course participants will be eligible to be assessed for a National Certificate of Competency.

Opportunities for Further Study
You must be at least 18 years old and have literacy and numeracy skills to a level that will allow you to perform the range of skills necessary to be a crane operator.
