Course Overview

This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to work safety at heights in the Resources
and Infrastructure Industries. This unit it appropriate for those working in operational roles where they are required to perform work at heights.

What to bring:

The Work Safety Centre is classified as a 'Construction Zone' so the student must wear appropriate safety PPE at all times. As a minimum high visability clothing (shirt or vest) and steel cap safety boots must be worn at all times. In addition please ensure you bring a safety helmet and safety glasses for high risk tasks.

Students are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to commencement of training and also bring the following to meet WorkSafe Victoria licensing requirements:

  • Victorian Drivers Licence or proof of ID card
  • Passport or proof of Victorian Residence (Utilities bill or bank statement)
