That is why Federation Training offer a variety of scholarships to ensure students can access a quality education and have the opportunity to get hands on and develop real skills and experience in the industry of their choice.

Our range of scholarships reflect a training organisation that is committed to providing education to a diverse variety of students.

2019 Scholarships will open 30 January 2019 and close 30 March 2019.

Career Change Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is designed for individuals embarking on a career change and require training to support this process. It recognises that often these individuals will have current qualifications that leave them ineligible for government funded places.

Placement Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is to support an individuals participation and the costs associated with an industry or community placement. The placement must directly support the individuals training outcomes.

Jack Armstrong Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is dedicated to the late Jack Armstrong to assist a student from the Bairnsdale Campus with the cost of their studies. The recipient is selected for their want and desire to learn and to use their new found skills to benefit the local community. A contribution to the community will be looked upon favourably.

Student Support Scholarship

Eligibility: The Student Support Scholarship assists financially disadvantaged students with the costs associated with education.

Travel Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is designed to support the travel expenses that exist with a regional TAFE. This scholarships is designed to lessen the burden of travel costs and allow increased access to a wider range of qualifications to those students in rural areas of our community.

Trailblazer Award Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is awarded to a current VCAL student to assist with the cost of their studies.

Tools of the Trade Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is awarded to an apprentice to assist with purchasing the tools or resources that are required during their studies with TAFE.
